Tabitha Sewer Studio Admin Assistant

Tabitha Sewer Studio is a creative space dedicated to arts, crafts and sewing. We provide a platform for creatives to learn, create, and collaborate. We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Studio Administrative Assistant with strong social media management skills to join our dynamic team. This role will be vital in supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio while also managing the studio's social media presence.

Responsibilities:

1. Studio Operations Support:

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing studio correspondence.

  • Maintain and update studio records, including client information, schedules, and inventory.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for studio supplies and equipment.

  • Manage studio calendars, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings.

2. Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the studio's branding and marketing objectives.

  • Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

  • Regularly schedule and post content on social media channels, ensuring consistency and adherence to the content calendar.

  • Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions.

  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations to enhance the studio's online presence.

3. Customer Service:

  • Welcome clients and visitors, providing a friendly and professional atmosphere.

  • Assist clients with inquiries, bookings, and registration for classes or workshops.

  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout their interactions with the studio.

4. Event Coordination:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating studio events, workshops, and studo outings.

  • Support event logistics, including venue arrangements, equipment setup, and participant registration.

  • Promote studio events and maintain online event listings.

5. Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the studio owner and other team members as needed.

  • Prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required.

  • Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.

  • Proficiency in Canva

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in social media management, with a strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.

  • Knowledge of social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to create compelling content.

  • A friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
