Pink Flamingo

🌴Summer is finally here!🌴
To kick it off, I created a very cute and on-trend skirt using Papercut Patterns that is perfect for those beach/ pool parties that you'll be attending this season.

So this was my first independent designer pattern that I've ever purchased. Ladies and gents, everything about this pattern is absolutely beautiful! The packaging is so clever. The opening of the box is in the shape of a hanger, so you can hang up your pattern in a cute way. The pattern paper is a kraft paper that is heavier than your typical pattern paper. Its such great quality! The instructions for the pattern were easy to follow and was able to be turned into book! What?! The illustrations and fonts were so nice. I mean, everywhere you turned, there was just something that was so unique about this pattern. I loved it! It's definitely worth the money. Fellow sewing blogger, Allie suggested this pattern to me and I could not have been more pleased. Go ahead and check out her version of this pattern. 😉 Im so inspired to check out other independent designer patterns. Which ones are your favorites?

My version is made with an amazing neoprene fabric which allows this pattern to have a more fun and playful look.
