Neutrals with a Pop of Color

Raise your hand if you know I love bright, bold, and playful colors! Looking at this, you would instantly know that this isn’t my normal style. I don’t really like neutrals! However, I wanted to make a neutral-colored coat so that I could wear it with more outfits to get the most use out of it! I ended up using one of my newer button designs, the popular Foxy Brown XL Button, for a single closure at the waist to keep this coat fitting nice and tight to help combat the cold and wind!

While this coat may seem pretty plain on the outside, you know I had to add that fun pop somewhere! Did you really expect anything less?! One of my favorite designs lately is when a garment has fun, hidden details that only you might know about. It’s like having a secret with yourself that always makes you smile!

I lined this coat with bright pink lining (my favorite!) and it was easily one of the best decisions I could’ve made! The lining always makes me smile since it’s something only I know is there unless I decide to tell and show people (which you know I do)! I think this may become a new favorite style - sew a secret detail into my favorite garments! What do you think?
