Nina Jumpsuit

You guys I’m so excited!!

We’ve been working on this pattern since the end of last year in collaboration with Creativebug and I can’t believe I finally get to say that it launches today! You can get ahold of your PDF copy and a thorough step-by-step tutorial on how to sew this pattern here via Creativebug! If you prefer a printed copy, we’ll have those available for you in just a couple of months! I would love for you to check out the video for this pattern. I had soooo much fun filming on set with the most incredible team.

Say hello to the Nina Jumpsuit which is named and inspired by the incredible singer/songwriter and Civil Rights Activist Nina Simone. If you aren’t familiar with her story, I highly recommend learning a little about her! Her strong, yet feminine personality inspired the structured yet fluid silhouette of this pattern.

The Nina is a wide leg, midi length jumpsuit with a center seam down the front. The waist fits slightly close to the body, loosens as it hits the hips, and continues to widen further down the pant leg. The straps criss cross in the back and attach at the back waist with buttons and buttonholes. Then there’s an invisible zipper at the center back and bias-finished neckline, armholes, and top back edge.

This is a pattern that you could wear for any season! While we recommend using medium-weight woven fabrics (such as chambray, linen, cotton sateen, cotton twill, poplin, denim, and corduroy) it’s not impossible to use others!

I hope you love the Nina as much as I do! Take a look below at some of my fabulous testers and their versions of this pattern!💕
