DIY Bomber in 15 Minutes!

Can you believe that this jacket only takes 15 minutes to make? Well, it's true!

I simply used two basic items to make this jacket and that's a sweatshirt and a separating zipper. This jacket is great for beginners because all you'll need to sew is the zipper.  A lot of times, people are fearful of sewing in zippers, but I can promise you that it's not so bad.  In my tutorial, I show you exactly how.

The best part about making this jacket is that it's custom. You can design it however you want.  If you prefer it to be plain and simple, that's perfect. If you want to add embellishments to the jacket, that's even more perfect.  Either way, if you are in need of some inspiration for your design, check out your favorite shops for inspiration.

Supplies

Sweatshirt
Separating Zipper

Sewing Tip: When choosing the length of your zipper, measure the length of the front center of your sweatshirt and purchase the zipper that matches closest in length the sweatshirt measurement.
