Disney's Princess Tiana Street Style
Ever wondered what Princess Tiana’s street style would look like? Well, here we are ladies and gents! I decided to create a look that I think she would wear.
Princess Tiana is one of my favorite Disney princesses. Not only because she was the first African American Disney princess, but because of her hard work and drive that she showcased throughout the entire movie. Her work ethic is incredible which is why I absolutely love her. She wasn’t born into money but worked to accomplished her dreams. Her story inspires and motivates me to work hard and also know that nothing comes easy.
So here is a sneaky peek into my inspiration notebooks. Whenever I go to create a look, I try to pull together an inspiration board of some sort into my notebook. I jot down several notes so that I get an understanding of what I’m working with and what my end look will hopefully be. My looks don’t always have a positive outcome, but this one turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it to look.

NOTES:
When creating this dress, I only used the bodice of the pattern listed above and I adding boning to give the bodice structure. I love that it sucks me in too. LOL!
For the skirt, I just created a simple circle design
